Trust

I watch one tv commercial of one of Nigeria foremost TV drama. The story go thus:

A man told his son to jump from the roof top of their hut, that he will catch the son from falling directly to the ground. Wholely, the bpoy trust his father and jumb. Only to see his father steps backward and fell to the ground with help. The man told him that the lesson he want the boy to learn is that “he should trust no one”.

As i ponder on the scene, i wonder if life is all about this, how will a man trust his wife, a guy trust his fiance, a father trust his chidren and so on.

There are two sides to the lesson. But the scripture reminds us that we should not put our trust in the flesh, rather we should commit our trust solely to the Father.

I know that without trust their is nothing like friendship in existence. we all need to trust each other to move on and respect each other view point.

Life Is A Journey

I have come to understand that life is a journey. It reminds me of how situation and challenges mold a man. it either makes you or mar you. All depends on how you makeup your mind to face it.

There are times that you ask yourself, why am going through this. Especially when we are young, during secondary school and colleges, you saw your mates with all pleasures at their beckon call. You imagined, why am i not having the same opportunity like them.

As i grow-up, the story of the potter comes to mind. The potter choose to design the vessel to his own taste and will, subject each one to different test, so that he could bring out the best in it. This is the position of the Almighty. He alone determines how we journey through life.

He has given us the power of choice to chose positive thinking and attitude to move on and achieve or you chose the negative part and not move.

I have chosen the positive thinking path, and have been moving on. Challenges i have faced in the past, present and future are been regarded as my stepping stone for greater height. Thinking positively and always have the right attitude.

The way you see yourself is what you are.
